Thomas Beatie who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Both Beatie and his daughter are healthy and doing well.
Pregnant man, right!!! As if being a man was only about a name! Someone who wants to be a man doesn’t keep her female reproductive organs.
Beatie, who took twice-weekly doses of testosterone and had his breasts surgically removed during his female-to-male transition, made headlines around the globe last April when he announced in an exclusive interview in People and on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he was expecting a child – while legally living as a man. LEGALLY! Not physically…
I know some dykes who behave more like a man than this Thomas!! She/he just wants to be famous and well she/he is!! And those creepy pictures and million interviews… they are just creepy!!!
Raised in Hawaii, he spent the first two decades of his life as Tracy Lagondino, a Girl Scout, former model and finalist in a Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant. Beatie told he began to dress and live as a man in his 20s, in time officially changing his gender on his passport and driver’s license.
In 2003, he legally married Nancy, a divorced mother of two who had had a hysterectomy as a result of endometriosis.
The couple became pregnant using donor sperm and Thomas’s eggs, through artificial insemination, after relocating in 2005 to Bend, Ore., where they operate a T-shirting printing business. A guy has got to sale a lot of Tees to be famous!!
Their baby girl is Thomas’s first child. “The only thing different about me is that I can’t breastfeed my baby. But a lot of mothers don’t”.
Despite published reports, Beatie says the baby was not delivered via C-section. He intends to publish a book about his experience this fall. Just another story to sell to the press… please spares us!!!

He maybe changed her gender but still he was able to deliver what should a woman need to do, she still value and used the gift that God to every woman…that’s the essence of a woman…

Why is this such a shock for people? This person was born A WOMAN! He took some steroids to change some feminine features and got surgery to remove her breast, but kept all the essential womanly devices down below. What does that say? She remains a woman! Just because you get your name and gender legally changed on PAPER , does not mean you can change what GOD made!

hey ppl..it happens, its life!…tell you what, it happens to me. i was 22 when i gave birth to a twins. i have went thru some process of surgery back then, but hey im glad i have read this about you T.Beatie…atleast i no someone is out there with the same situation as me…CONGRATS!!!….

para que se cambio mde sexo si alfinal igual esta procreando como mujer, igual esta embarazada.
Si realmente ubiese querido ser hombre ubuese cambiado por completo (organos internos femeninos ) ni siquira por su mente ubiese cabido la posibilidad de embarazarse.
Ella realmente se ve como hombre y es chocante ver un cuerpo masculino embarazado aún sabiendo que era mujer.

On another note, it’s really horrible to read all the negativity people have about their parenting capabilities.
When you consider how many single parent and even no-parent families living in the world today it’s really quite astounding that someone can look down on this man’s abilities as a father because he lacks the proper genitalia.
- Why don’t social workers just confiscate the children of parents who have been castrated because clearly they are not fit to raise children.
ps: Funny how some people bring up this god nonsense to support their prejudices…considering that by monotheistic reasoning it is “god”’s fault that Thomas was born into a gender that was wrong for him and made him miserable…

where is the pregnant man?
she is a woman , she took some hormones to look like a man and did surgery to complete that look.
she even still have the woman feelings to be a mom like any other woman and has the system that let her have babies, and of course she will have the same mom feelings toward her baby.
so, where is the man?,
she is just a woman who wants different things not like any other woman:
” having man features”
but she puts herself in a big trouble, how is she dealing with her baby as a mom or as a dad, if she wants another baby later, how could her baby see his father getting pregnant? how her child will understand this?
she have to prepare her self for a reasonable answers for her child without making misunderstandings to the real rules of the nature.

Thank you for such a lovely reply. I agree with you completely.
In addition, I would like to point out that if any deity (dieties) existed it (they) would be responsible for our ability to make a “pregnant man” possible. Many religious people claim that “I can do anything through Jesus Christ who strengthens me”, but it appears that humans can do marvelous things without him. Humans have enough knowledge about the human body to change the appearance of a woman to fit that of a man. It’s even theoretically possible that genetic males could carry a pregnancy, obvious risks aside.
I’m just glad that there are people who live their lives in the persuit of happiness, even if their harmless opinions, ideas and dreams may offend the opinions, ideas, dreams of others.

Personally, I think he’s an individual. And he has the right to do with his body what he likes, and be of the sex he likes. If he identifies mostly as male, then he’s male, if he has the ability to create life while being male, what’s so terrible about that?
Also, God is supposedly genderless, yet people conveniently forget that. So if he created us in his image, doesn’t each of us have the capability to be either male or female, perhaps even both? But noooo, the ones touting their religious beliefs say we can’t be both, because well… Um… Oh hang on, there’s a loophole in there, crap.
